Metro 2 ECOA code T: association terminated
Your connection to the account has ended. Examples include an authorized user who was removed or a borrower released when another party assumed the loan. The code works person by person, not for the whole account, so the account may keep reporting for the other people on it.
How it shows on your report
"Terminated" or a closed responsibility line, sometimes with the account no longer appearing at all.
How it affects your score
How scoring models treat history on a terminated association isn't published.
What to check
If you were removed from an account or released by the lender, check that balances and late payments after that date aren't still landing on your report. Keep the lender's release letter or removal confirmation, since it's the proof you'll need if the account keeps updating under your name.
