Plan to your date. Plus emails you before each step.

Pick the loan and the day you want to apply. Plus turns the cards, scores and letters you save into a month-by-month plan, then emails you before each step that counts: every statement that reports before your date, the day to stop opening new credit, and your checks at 60 and 30 days out. Don't let one statement cost you the month the lender looks.

Plus is in its founding beta: every feature, free, no card. When billing opens, founding members keep the price they picked, and nothing is charged unless you choose to stay. No Social Security number, no bank login, no credit pull.

Last statement before your date: pay $1,950 on Card A

Card A's statement closes Sunday, March 14. It's the last one that reports before your FHA application date, Monday, April 5.

Your saved balance is $2,400 on a $5,000 limit (48%). Your plan aims for 9% of the limit, which is $450 or less. Pay $1,950 by Thursday, March 11, so it posts before the statement closes.

Pay at least the statement amount by its due date, as usual.

Based on the balance you last saved. Update it in your dashboard if it changed.

A plan to your date

Pick an FHA, conventional, VA or USDA home loan, a car loan, or something else. Add the date you want to apply and a target score. Plus lays out every month until then: the last statements that report before your date and the balance to aim for on each (9% of the limit or less), a steady monthly paydown, a six-month no-new-credit window, and checks at 60 and 30 days out. It's your plan, built from your numbers, and it changes when they do.

Statement-date emails

A few days before each card's statement closes, you get the amount to pay to reach your plan's balance. The last statement before your date is flagged, because it's the one a lender is most likely to see. The timing comes straight from how statement balances get reported.

Middle-score readout

Log each score with its model and bureau. For a home loan plan, Plus shows the middle of your latest three bureau scores, the number mortgage lenders usually use, so a score from an app doesn't pass for the one that counts.

Letters and drop-off dates

Letter tracking is free and unlimited for every account. Plus emails you when an answer is due on a letter you mailed, using the 30-day reinvestigation clock, and tells you when a late payment, collection or inquiry stops counting or leaves your reports.

Questions about Plus

What is the plan, exactly?

It’s a month-by-month list built from your goal, your date and the numbers you save. It shows the last statements that report before your date and the balance to aim for on each, a steady monthly paydown, when your six-month no-new-credit window starts, your checks at 60 and 30 days out, which old items stop counting before your date, when answers are due on letters you mailed, and your middle score for a home loan.

What exactly do I get with Plus?

Every month of your plan instead of only the current one, and an email before each step: the amount to pay before each statement closes (flagged when it’s the last one before your date), the start of your no-new-credit window, your 60-day and 30-day checks, and the day your date arrives. Plus also adds letter deadline emails, drop-off alerts, unlimited saved cards, drop-off items and score history, and a monthly check-in email.

What do I get with a free account?

Your plan summary and the current month, unlimited letter tracking, up to 2 saved cards, up to 3 drop-off items and your last 3 score log entries. Every free tool on the site works without an account.

What happens after my date?

You get an email the day your date arrives. After you apply, keep paying on time and hold off on new credit until the loan closes, because lenders can check your credit again before closing. Then you can set a new goal and date, keep Plus, or cancel online.

Does Plus dispute anything for me or change my credit reports?

No. Plus is planning and reminder software. You decide what to do and you do it. ScoreTuner never contacts credit bureaus, lenders or collectors on your behalf, never reports anything to the bureaus, and never charges for disputes.

Do you pull my credit or ask for my Social Security number?

No. You enter the numbers you want tracked, such as a card’s limit, balance and closing date. We never ask for your Social Security number or bank logins, and nothing touches your credit file.

How do I cancel?

From your account page: choose Manage billing, then cancel. There’s no phone call and no retention script. You keep Plus until the end of the period you already paid for, and if you email us within 14 days of a charge, we refund that charge in full.

What happens to my saved data if I cancel?

Your account drops to the free plan and keeps your saved items. Your plan goes back to the summary and current month, the emails stop, and some features become read-only. You can delete your account and everything in it at any time.

Can Plus promise a higher score?

No, and you should be wary of anyone who says they can. Plus helps you time and track the actions that scoring models read. The results depend on your files and on what lenders report.
