Metro 2 compliance condition code XR: remove the last compliance code
An instruction that removes the most recently reported compliance condition code, such as a dispute flag that's no longer needed or a closure code reported by mistake. It doesn't change the rest of the account; it simply clears the remark so the account reads as it would with no compliance code at all.
How it shows on your report
You won't see the code. The dispute or closure remark simply goes away.
How it affects your score
Removes the remark. The underlying account data is unchanged.
What to check
If you asked to have a dispute flag removed before a mortgage, confirm at all three bureaus that the remark is actually gone, including the ones you didn't check first. A lender that reports to all three bureaus can still leave one bureau showing an old flag.
