Metro 2 payment rating code 4: 120 to 149 days past due when reported
When the account's status describes an ending, such as transferred, paid or closed, deed in lieu or foreclosure, this rating says the account was 120 to 149 days past due at that moment. Lenders also send the rating with other statuses, where it should simply agree with them.
How it shows on your report
Rarely shown as its own field. It shapes how a closed account's final status reads and the last month in the payment grid.
How it affects your score
Shows the account ended or transferred while delinquent, which counts as a late in payment history even though the account is now closed.
What to check
The months leading up should show 30, 60 and 90 in order. If you were in an approved forbearance or trial plan during those months, the delinquency may have been reported incorrectly.
