Metro 2 account status code 83: 150 to 179 days past due
The account is five payments behind: at least 150 but fewer than 180 days past the due date as of this update. Card accounts this far behind are often close to a charge-off, and the lender may already be preparing to send the debt to collections or sell it to a debt buyer.
How it shows on your report
"150 days late" or a 150 in the grid. Some bureau displays show it as 120 or more.
How it affects your score
Late payments are among the most damaging items in payment history. FICO looks at how late, how recent and how many, so each step further behind generally hurts more. No one can tell you an exact point drop.
What to check
A delinquency can only age about 30 days per month, so this status should follow a 120-day status in the month before, not a current month. Compare the amount past due to your missed payments: at this stage it should roughly equal five missed payments. If you paid within 30 days of the due date that month, the late shouldn't be there at all.
