Metro 2 special comment code BT: principal deferred, interest-only payments
You're making interest-only payments while principal payments are deferred, so the balance won't drop during that time. It describes an ongoing arrangement, such as some hardship plans, and it should come off when regular principal-and-interest payments resume under the original or a new schedule.
How it shows on your report
A remark like "Principal deferred, interest payment only."
How it affects your score
Not known to be scored as a negative. The balance won't fall while it applies.
What to check
Payments made under the agreed arrangement shouldn't be reported as late. When regular payments resume, the remark should come off and the scheduled payment amount on the tradeline should change to match the new payment.
